BRAVEHEART MOVIE PROP Scottish Long Sword Scotland Mel Gibson Metal Wood Weapon
Sure we have something you don't see every day. This is a mid to late 20th century 59 inch!! Scottish long sword used in the film BRAVEHEART. This sword has been traditionally forged in formed.
This piece came from an estate in Scotland. This sword is the same style of Mel Gibson sword thrown at the end of the film (notice the point above the hilt) Mel Gibson used five swords in the film but there were so many others used it was more than likely a background/side character prop. It is highly detailed, hand made of real forged steel and wood making it even more likely used by a lord or something.
Props from this film are incredibly hard to find. I will include a COA from my shop with this piece.
