Vintage "Only Angels Have Wings" Nitroglycerin Copper Can Movie Prop. This can be seen in the 1939 western classic''Only Angels Have Wings'' starring Carry Grant. This prop only comes with the paper that is attached to the bottom no other documents are included with this lot. 15 x 6.5 x 6.5in.

Only Angels Have Wings is a 1939 American adventure drama film directed by Howard Hawks, and starring Cary Grant and Jean Arthur, based on a story written by Hawks. It features supporting performances from Thomas Mitchell, Richard Barthelmess, Noah Beery Jr. And Rita Hayworth, marking the first major role for the latter. Released by Columbia Pictures in May 1939, the film is generally regarded as being among Hawks' finest films, particularly in its portrayal of the professionalism of the pilots of the film, its atmosphere, and the flying sequences.

In 2017, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". This piece is in good condition with signs of wear commensurate with age.
