Original Hand Painted Canvas Movie Backdrop. These three pieces of hand painted canvas were the backdrop for the original 1982 movie Deathtrap , directed by Sidney Lumet from a screenplay by Levin and Jay Presson Allen, and starring Michael Caine, Dyan Cannon and Christopher Reeve. You may recall the scene in the film in which the living room doors are opened to reveal the back yard. These canvases, shot from a distance and at various angles, ARE the back yard.

There are three separate canvases, which measure 23' 3" x 10' 3", 13' 8" x 8" and 13' 8 x 5' respectively. The photographs of these canvases were taken from the top of a very tall ladder so I apologize for the slightly skewed perspective.

All are in very good condition but each has a few minor issues as would be expected, see photos. PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID TO MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER.
