A set consisting of 2 movie props from the production of Godzilla 1998. The set consists of a sizable section of Godzilla skin and a section of the Brooklyn Bridge miniature seen in the film. Not everything in the film was CGI, extensive miniatures and suits were used and were enhanced digitally. The piece of Godzilla skin is a section that was owned by Electric Entertainment, a production company operated by Godzilla producer Dean Devlin. Several stray skin pieces were auctioned off a few years back.
Constructed of foam latex and measuring at about 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 1/2, this particular section has a strap that likely connected to the rest of the suit. Comes with a COPY of the Electric Entertainment C.
A, as this came from a larger set of pieces. The Brooklyn bridge piece here was created by construction company'Cinnabar' during production and is made of a lightweight plaster material that is somewhat fragile and was designed to break.
Created for scenes in which Godzilla stumbled across the bridge causing sections to break. Measures at about 3" x 3" x 2.
Comes with a Little Prop Museum Letter of Authenticity, as a Cinnabar certificate was never offered.
