INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (1984). This beetle is one of the hero or special effects versions, in that the bottom of the abdomen is removable, revealing a hollow compartment. The removable portion is affixed with Velcro. In the movie, during the banquet, the actors removed the bottom portion and ate what was reportedly pudding. There appears to be some pudding residue visible in the hollow portion of the abdomen, from filming.

This item is approximately six inches long, four inches wide, and one inch high. It appears to be made of resin, plastic, or rubber. This item, given its age, is in excellent condition, with the removable portion of the abdomen included and with all the legs still attached, some with hairs still affixed.
