Movie Prop Badge with no hallmark This badge is. It came from a collection of movie prop badges from "ISS" or "Independent Studio Services" in Los Angeles. This badge is marked with the studio property engraving of "ISS" on the right rear of the badge.

The city "Bay City" is a fictional city in California used mainly in three movies/series... First was the original Starsky and Hutch series. Second was the series "Renegade" starring Lorenzo Lamas and then the subsequent Starsky and Hutch movie made in the 2000's. The Badge is very heavy custom-die style badge with "BAY CITY POLICE" banner and "POLICE OFFICER" and badge number 879. The badge is clearly marked on the rear only with "ISS" and property number (ISS 0302162), on the rear of the badge. There are definite signs of wear and use, but overall badge looks like decent condition. The badge conveys no authority.
