Ralph Macchio The Karate Kid 3 original movie prop replica all valley trophy

FOR SERIOUS'KARATE KID' FANS ONLY. We have finally located the EXACT same gold trophy CUP that was used'on screen' in the 1986 & 1989. At this time, we only have. This CUP is made of real metal, not gold plated plastic.

It is heavy & MUCH more expensive than a plastic trophy cup. You will need to attach it when you open the box. The correct nut is included, you will need a 7/16'nut driver' to tighten it up. This trophy replica is the second & final trophy of Daniel Larusso's'All Valley Under 18' tournament days. The gold inscription plate will read as follows....

"The Karate Kid" has always been my favorite film of all-time. I was a kid when it came out in 1984 and the movie had a big influence on my life, and led me to become a martial artist. I say this because, I want you guys to know that I'm a true'long-time' fan. Fans are the best at creating replicas from movies, because we study every scene and make sure it is as'screen accurate' as possible! With that said, I'm offering something to all the'Karate Kid' fans out there, that has never been offered before...

1986's The Karate Kid II (parking lot intro) & 1989's The Karate Kid III " ALL VALLEY Championship trophy ". Okay, let me find a good place to start.. The trophy that Daniel wins at the end of the 1984'The Karate Kid' film (The HERO trophy) was given to actor Ralph Macchio after production was completed. He still has that trophy in his home today. I've seen new interviews with the original cast, where they were asked if the opening scene of " Karate Kid II " (1986) in the parking lot, at night, after the tournament...

Was that original un-used film from 1984, or was it new footage filmed for KK:2? The actors proclaim that the'parking lot' scene was indeed filmed in 1983 and was supposed to be the ending to the original film.

If that is true, and I believe it is, then why did Daniel have a completely different trophy in his hand when he walks out of the All Valley Sports Arena? If you study the trophy that Daniel is carrying as he talks with Pat Johnson & the Ring Announcer, it is NOT the same trophy that Johnny Lawrence just handed him after the crane kick. Also the 4 wood columns that support this trophy are very different than the original. These wood columns appear to be'unfinished' or'natural wood' with NO stain.

They are also'thicker' than the original wood columns. The'3 ring' pattern is on these wood columns like the HERO trophy, but it doesn't look the same. This' parking lot scene' trophy is built to the same proportions as the HERO trophy, but I just don't understand why they didn't use the HERO trophy in this scene?

One last thing about this trophy... There is a manufacture sticker on the bottom of the base (you can see it in the parking lot scene) & there was NO sticker on the bottom of the base of the HERO trophy. Its NOT the same trophy - PERIOD. Now fast forward with me to the wonderful year 1989 - June 30th, to be precise. After studying this film intently, it seems that the prop department created the new "All Valley 1985" Champion trophy early in production.

There is a scene in KK:3 where Daniel is soaking his foot in hot water, in his bedroom at Miyagi's house. There is a tall, 4 column Champion trophy behind him on a shelf. It is intended to be his trophy he won in 1984 after crane-kicking Johnny...

But that trophy has been in actor Ralph Macchio's home since 1983. So the trophy that Daniel wins after defeating Mike Barnes, Karate's Bad Boy , was a'stand-in' trophy for that earlier bedroom scene. At the end of the film, the Ring Announcer (actor Rick Hurst) gives Daniel the same trophy he already had in his bedroom at Miyagi's (that's funny).

Daniel already had the trophy he was going to win at the end of KK:3 before he ever fought Mike Barnes! We never see the inscription plate up close, but we will assume they created it the same as the original film. The first line would read... The second line would read.... 1985 Karate Championships' (because it was supposed to be 1 year later) and the 3rd line would say...

Look in my 2nd photo in this listing, you can see 2 tall trophies on the table in background, behind Referee Pat Johnson. The trophy on the'right' is the 1 that is given to Larusso after his fight with Mike Barnes. The trophy on the'left' has'gold' columns and the CUP is'satin' gold. That must have been a'1st Place' trophy for a different age group.

(as seen in these photos are type'B' wood columns) available NOW. Same as used in NETFLIX's "Cobra Kai" series. (1989) "All Valley Championship trophy" is built in the same manner as the original HERO trophy...

Wood base, gold'lady victory' statue, 4 tall wood columns, wooden top plate, beautiful gold trophy cup, gold Karate kick man statue on top. As in my other trophy listings, the screen accurate wood columns no longer exist. Style of 1980s era-correct wood column to choose from. The type B wood columns are the same columns they currently use on the NETFLIX series " Cobra Kai " (see the All Valley trophy Miguel won). We are currently trying to obtain more of these'original' metal trophy cups, as seen in this listing.

At this time we only have 2 of these in our. Please ask me any and all questions before purchasing. Its the box dimensions that hurt. This item is in the category "Entertainment Memorabilia\Movie Memorabilia\Props\Reproductions". The seller is "ninjaturtle01" and is located in this country: US.
