For your consideration is this Beautiful, hand crafted replica prop. The Captain Pike Communicator as seen in the Trek Pilot "The Cage" from 1965. All the details are there to recreate the look and feel of the prop that was actually used for filming. This is not a idealised version with no bubbles or quirks. It was made with an eye for accuracy. Included are the vintage components such as the resistors, capacitors and rotary switch with circuit board. These are encased in a clear resin body(and covered with automotive clear coat) with metal antenna and armature with the brass stopper. Topping it off are a beautiful aluminum center Knob and replica vintage battery caps for tuning. This prop reproduction is the end result of years of research, parts sourcing and trial and error to bring you as close as possible that, which was seen on the film.
