Star wars storyboards Empire Strikes Back movie props HOTH PROBE DROID WAMPA Art

These boards are from the earliest binder roughly 8 months before the others. Costumes are different in some scenes and the boards look a little different then all other boards you will ever see. Some/Most if all these early boards have the characters dialogue written on them as well! 2nd picture matches color of board closest. My camera does not like closeups.

SCENE: DELETED SCENE SET OF 2 BOARDS IN SEQUENCE. The imperial probe droid smashes down onto the Hoth surface, rises up and begins its search. The probe droid approaches a mound.

A snow beast lets out a bellow peeking out from the snow. The probe droid notice itand opens fire!! Once again these are 1st generation storyboards. This listing is for the one/group of storyboards pictured in the first few shots.

Here we have an amazing (extremely rare) original production used storyboard from Star Wars: Empire Strikes back from the personal collection of Phill Tippett (ILM, DreamWorks, Lucas Films).

Phill Tippett did a ton of work for the original Star Wars films specializing in creature, design, stop motion, and computerized character animation. Each board is 8.5x10 3/4 in. Comes with 2 COA's. One for my shop and a copy of the original COA from the prop house.

My shop COA is an example. Each storyboard will have a specific serialI number for that exact piece. I put my reputation as a production art dealer on it. This is a special collection. Most of the scenes are from the battle of Hoth (opening credits to fit to finish), tons of space battles, cloud city.
